L'Octavin is one of those wineries I was reluctant to taste, but I still peeked at these bottles from time to time. And at last, we met. Worth noting that this is my first Molette grape. In the bouquet pickles, benzene and VA are mong dominating aromas. Behind this non-fruit veil, there are hints of nuts and citrus. The most intriguing thing about this wine is its taste (sic!). The first thing to notice is how volatile it is. The second thing is how the taste evolves over time. Drinking this wine is like tapping an unstable source of magick. No one knows what happens next.
