Ensamblaje Blanco

Tropical and indulgent, the kind of wine that doesn't ask difficult questions. But here's the thing - it's too comfortable. Where's the volcanic tension? The mineral spine? It's all plush curves and no edges, like a beach holiday when you wanted hiking. Long finish saves it somewhat, herbs lingering nicely. Pleasant enough, sure, but I came to Tenerife for the rocks, not the resort.
