Tasting Notes
Despite recognizing the skill involved in its creation, this wine doesn't align with my personal preferences due to its heavy and intense character. My experience mirrors previous tastings, with a distinctive aroma profile of boiled eggs, boiled cabbage, wet wool, cotton candy, yellow fruits, and cream. It's undeniably aromatic. It also features good acidity and a buttery structure, alongside an intense palate and prolonged aftertaste. However, its weightiness is a bit too much for my taste.
This wine features a challenging reductive bouquet with pronounced boiled egg notes that, although diminishing over time, are intricately intertwined with its aromatic profile. Beyond this, it unfolds layers of cream, yellow fruits, cotton candy, and wet wool. It boasts good acidity and a long, potent aftertaste underpinned by a solid mineral structure. Despite its craftsmanship and sophistication, its distinctive character made it difficult for me to enjoy.
