Painful to drink, this one. At least the name doesn't lie - bitter herbs on the nose, bitter herbs on the palate. I appreciate that commitment, but the sweet-powerful combo isn't mandatory. Interesting experience since I haven't had Amarone in ages. Oof. So raisinated. Honestly, that's a lot of effort to make knockout booze. Could be well made for the style, but it's hard for me.
