Aus den Lagen Riesling

Okay Riesling. Basic, simple, very straightforward. Green fruits, lemons, some yeasty notes. Good acidity, technically correct, but genuinely interesting to drink? No. The problem is the price - over €30 feels steep for something this unengaging. Maybe it needs years in bottle to show what it's got, or perhaps I wasn't ready for such "subtle" wine. But honestly, I suspect it's just a bit boring for what you're paying. Solid enough, just not compelling.
