Ravage (d2021-05)

Ravage is the rose in the Delouvin range, and a pure Meunier one - a Champagne Rose Brut Nature with nothing added at dosage. It is built on the house's Sauvage cuvee, itself a solera of three successive Meunier harvests (here 2013, 2014 and 2015) drawn from a mosaic of Vandieres soils and exposures - clay, sand and chalk. The colour comes from blending in a still red Meunier from the Chaillets Loupette parcel, a south-facing slope of old massale-selection vines. It rests at least 48 months on the lees before disgorgement; this release was disgorged in May 2021, one of just 517 bottles.
