Tasting Notes
Blind tasted and confused the hell out of me. Chamomile tea and medicine cabinet aromatics, pine nuts sneaking through - classic Vermentino markers wrapped in skin-contact clothes. Four days on skins gives it that subtle tannic bite without going full orange wine warrior. The high acidity is pure Liguria, cutting through like sea breeze. Year in old casks adds depth without oak flavour - just that quiet oxidative complexity lurking underneath. Beautifully restrained, letting 40-year-old vines speak through the gentle maceration. Gets more perfumed as it opens, all herbs and coastal flowers. Stylish stuff - skin contact done with a light touch rather than a heavy hand.
