Crémant de Limoux

Pretty crémant with proper apple orchard vibes, though the nose is a bit rough around the edges. But listen - there's proper minerality here, like wet limestone after rain. Problem is, this wine's wound tighter than a Swiss watch and nowhere near ready to drink. Then the finish goes full Trappist monk on you - bitter herbs, that distinctive beer-y tang, like someone accidentally blended sparkling wine with a Belgian dubbel. Not my thing at all, this whole wine-pretending-to-be-beer situation, but I respect the commitment to weirdness.
