Interesting wine. Knowing it was made from 97 vines that are over 100 years old raises expectations. While not world-changing, it's still beautiful and delicious. The slightly funky bouquet includes VA, bruised red apple, Nordic berries, grapefruit, and spices. On the palate, it's surprisingly fresh with high acidity and slightly grippy tannins. Medium-bodied, easy to drink, juicy, and delicious. Lovely mineral backbone with a slightly salty finish.
