Lively bouquet with notes of cherry, cornel, cranberry, earth, and spices. Over time, the cranberry funkiness gives way to smoke and chocolate. Curious evolution. On the palate, it's metallic with rustic tannins. Not overly complex or class-defining, but still a compelling wine.
