A decent effort, but not quite to my personal preference. It's a wine that sits in a middle ground where I'd desire either more vibrancy or a touch more complexity. On the nose, there's a sweetness of caramel intertwined with baked apple and apricot, all underpinned by soft notes of vanilla, cream, and a hint of tropical mango. The palate is smooth, reminiscent of a delicate iris-infused caramel sweet, with a touch of lingering sweetness. While the finish is of a medium length, it doesn't leave a lasting impression. A wine I'd likely not revisit, but others might appreciate its distinct character.
