Pagliaro, a robust 15% ABV Sagrantino, is a testament to the beauty of power balanced with elegance. It sports a beautiful color that hints at both maturity and a promising future. The bouquet is charming, sophisticated, and multilayered, with notes of cherry confiture, dried red flowers, candy, briar, wood, toffee, spices, dried fig, and forest floor, all contributing to its complexity. On the palate, it's nothing short of delicious. Yes, it's full-bodied, but there is nothing inherently wrong about it. The wine is well-balanced, beautiful, and flavorful, with a persistent finish. It proved to be a great and soothing companion throughout a long, calm evening. And boy, it's only entering its drinking window.
