Meaty stuff. Red flowers, cherries, smoke, cacao, gouache and raw meat. Maybe it's not a textbook Volnay, but I actually enjoy this wine when I put all the prejudice away. Alcohol is high, which is strange, but it's quite balanced and overall the mouthfeel is beautiful. Just like any other '20 by Frédéric Cossard, this one also requires a few years.
