Tasted blind and enjoyed its evolution in the glass over the evening. My guess was a Carricante-based blend from Sicily. At first, it scared away with reductive notes dominated by hydrogen sulfide. But then it faded away and revealed a beautiful bouquet. Seawater, cabbage, yellow stone fruits, and spices. Medium acidity, yet fresh with evolving taste. Flavours of spiced pumpkin and stone fruits. Charismatic and sophisticated. The only problem is clumsy ethanol.
