Vouvray

Tasted blind - I guessed the variety and the general region right. So yes, Chenin Blanc, off-dry. A bit of banana, green notes, candied fruit, and honey. Slightly on the flashy side, but in a pleasant way.

On the palate, it leans sweet, though there's a bit of acidity and minerality pushing through to keep things in arguable balance. Long finish, with a touch of bitterness at the end. Well-made, but not something you'd want to drink in large quantities.
