Wow, I haven't tasted this particular wine and vintage for almost two years. So it was a nice surprise when someone (sorry, I don't remember who) opened this bottle. Surprisingly, it's still funky. Candied cranberry and cherry, violets, gouache, fur and bell pepper. Juicy and fruity medium-plus body. Flavours of dried fruits and tomato stems. Not overly complex and a bit heavy.
Decanting is a must, otherwise this wine is too fuzzy to consume. Very pleasant nose with cranberry and cherries. Medium+ body with cherry flavour. Good balance, thought simple.
Simple, refreshing and enjoyable wine. Cranberry and strawberry. Maybe some hints of leather. Give it some time.
