Michael Wenzel's dry Furmint from Rust, a multi-parcel blend off the quartz soils (with limestone and schist) of the Ruster hill-chain. Spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, aged ten months on fine lees in neutral oak, and bottled unfined and unfiltered with very low sulphur. Dry, around 12.5% abv. This is a straight, transparent Furmint rather than a skin-contact wine - Wenzel keeps extended skin contact for a separate range.
