·@Anna ZTextbook traditional Rioja showing its best self. Sweet cherries and plums wrapped in leather and balsamic, with that classic Spanish spice cabinet - nutmeg, clove, cinnamon. Thirteen years have been kind: silky texture, resolved tannins with just a chalky touch, tertiary notes of tobacco and mocha adding depth. Medium to full-bodied but moves like silk. The balance is spot-on - fruit still pure and defined, structure intact, finish goes on forever. From magnum, this has decades ahead. Polished, harmonious, and utterly satisfying. Classic Rioja doing what it does best.
