Grand Terroir Schiste Schieferberg

Simple on the nose, more autolysis than fruit: fresh buns, raw dough, a little candy, some nice yellow fruit poking through. The palate is where it gets odd - good acidity, but a sour edge, and a start that promises more than the finish delivers. Feels like an off bottle more than a verdict on the wine.
