Quite sterile. Tasted blind but correctly guessed Georgia and qvevri - the style is unmistakable. Region and grape were more statistical guesses. Good tannins, well-integrated but clearly built for meat-grinding duties. Typical nose for the "clean"/mainstream qvevri style: pencil lead, yellow fruits, quince, apples. Touch of perfume. It's tasty enough, but lacks character somehow. Palate starts amusingly round and slightly sweet before the tannins kick in. I get why people drink this, but honestly it's hard work solo - needs food badly. Lucky we've got plenty.
