Negru de Purcari Amphorae

It's in amphora. Why? Unclear. Some say forgotten traditions... but, well - the result is actually quite good.

The wine is very precise. Black berries, dark fruit, violets. It's seriously powerful - like, wow - but the balance is there. Fairly seamless, with firm tannins that are well integrated.

Still, it's intense. Not exactly easy drinking, but undeniably well made. It needs a few more years in the bottle for sure.
