Ramandolo

Delicious and beautifully composed dessert wine. Layers of honey, raisins, caramelised orange peel, dried fruits and a gentle brush of coffee and chocolate, and then almonds and vanilla. Medium-bodied, with high acidity and just enoughxs minerality to keep the sweetness in check. At ten years, it's in a lovely place - mature but far from tired.
