Join to read it and the restTerriscope is the Dehours cuvée made from bought grapes, the estate's way of expressing terroirs next to its own: since the 2020 harvest the domaine has been buying fruit from grower-producers in neighbouring villages of the Marne valley who share its approach, and #22 takes its number from the 2022 base harvest. It is Meunier from that harvest in four left-bank villages, Festigny, Mareuil-le-Port, Troissy and Soilly, blended with 21% of the domaine's perpetual reserve, the one the house has kept since 1998 as the backbone of its Grande Réserve and whose grape mix it does not publish; the producer's fiche puts the tirage at June 2023, the production at 21,158 bottles, and the dosage at an extra brut 1 to 3 g/l that varies with each disgorgement and is printed on the back label. This bottle's back label reads dégorgement February 2026 and 2.3 g/l, which makes 32 months on the lees against the 19 to 22 months and 1.1 g/l the producer's page lists, so lots of #22 differ from one another. The house does not publish a vessel or malolactic regime for the cuvée; its US importer Skurnik describes the non-vintage blends as vinified mostly in stainless steel with a small share in barrel and aged on lees, with malolactic allowed since about 2008 and filtration avoided. #21, the first Terriscope vinified at the estate, was built differently, 40% Meunier from the left bank and 40% Pinot Noir from the right bank over 20% of a 2019 reserve; #22 goes back to the Meunier base of the earlier Terriscope Vallée de la Marne and Rive Droite bottlings. 12.5% on the label.
