Complex and not in the best way. Pinot Noir like bouquet with cherry, blackberry, briar tea, wet forest floor. Strangely restrained and elusive on the palate. Medium-high acidity and medium tannin, long aftertaste with flavours of briar tea and blackberry. My first Gaglioppo grape and my first wine from Cirò DOC.
