l'Etoile Savagnin Floral

Tasty Savagnin that reminds me ouillé. Yellow fruits, flowers, nuts. Crisp, with properly high acidity - exactly what you want. But it's missing Savagnin's DNA. The acidity's there, sure, but everything else? Not quite right. Lacks that distinctive character that makes Savagnin Savagnin. Good wine, just not particularly compelling as a varietal expression.
