Vosne-Romanée

Reminds me a bit of cheaper packaging. Dill, berries, some earth, but nothing deep about it. The real problem shows up in the mouth - painfully dry and tannic, with odd notes of Icelandic moss and something vaguely rotten. Tobacco leaf on the finish. There's something interesting trying to happen here, but it lacks the finesse and elegance you bloody well expect from Vosne-Romanée. Not at this price. Just no.
