Bosco Samuele

Samuele Bosco is a young winegrower in Priocca, at the eastern edge of the Roero. The family winery traces back to 1790; in 2018 Samuele separated his own production and now runs it as a tiny independent estate under the Bosco Samuele label - about a hectare of vines as of late 2024, per Luciano Pignataro's FIVI report. He bottles under the FIVI independent-winegrowers banner and farms without herbicides or systemic products, organic in practice but uncertified; Pignataro notes the whites are filtered.

The range covers Roero Arneis, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba and Roero rosso; the Arneis has run to a few hundred or a couple of thousand bottles depending on the year. The Italian merchant Callmewine describes mature parcels on sandy and clay soils, some past fifty years old.
