Île Four

Ile Four is a sake brand built for the European market; the name reads as four islands, after Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu and Hokkaido. The range is entirely junmai: rice, water, yeast and koji, with no added alcohol, brewed in small batches in Japan under experienced toji and bottled in wine-shaped 720 ml bottles aimed at wine drinkers. The brand does not disclose its partner brewery or prefecture, so the geography stays at country level. The lineup runs from the entry junmai up to junmai daiginjo, plus yuzu and momo infusions.
