I didn't realise it at first, but it seems this wine was taken off the lees quite recently - probably not the best moment to open it.
On the bright side, the lees ageing (just 12 months) is nicely present, and the blend works well: Fetească Regală gets a solid lift from Fetească Albă and Riesling. Fresh bread with butter, yellow and white fruits, a hint of honey.
On the palate, it's round and slightly sweet, but lacking in acidity. Overall - fine, but nothing particularly memorable. Easy, safe, and very drinkable, but not much beyond that.
