Tasting Notes
Despite my sincere attempts to give this wine a chance (hey, I know all the cool guys bash Beaujolais Nouveau), it didn't really deliver.
The initial impression is unexpectedly crude, which somewhat softens over time to reveal a blend of red and dark fruits, accompanied by a hint of dried banana. However, that's the extent of its aromatic complexity. On the palate, it presents a compote-like roundness, but is marred by low acidity and tannins. Its aftertaste is disappointingly brief, and an unwelcome bitterness in the finish further detracts from the experience.
Overall, this wine lacks complexity and finesse, resulting in an edgy and unsettling experience.
