Pinot Noir

What a beautiful discovery. The story unfolds in two directions here. One part of this wine is approachable and generous. Think about ripe cherries, violets (sorry, Elena), milk chocolate and maple syrup. Round, juicy and meaty mouthfeel. A reminiscent of the compote we all deserve. The other part is about Nordic berries and bitter herbs. A bit warm with some bitterness in the finish. Both parts are interleaved so seamlessly that the wine becomes nuanced. It's not complex per se, but subjectively I love this Pinot Noir. I can't help but wonder about the future of this wine, while it's so damn delicious today.
