Langhe Nebbiolo

Oh, this is poetry indeed. Just take a look at that beautiful color. They say it's textbook Langhe. Count me among the fans. The aroma is lovely and delicate, filled with red flowers, damp earth, mushrooms, cherries, and raspberries. On the palate, the wine boasts excellent acidity, concentration, and energy. Yet, thanks to the fruit, it remains wonderfully approachable. It's a complex, well-balanced wine with a long finish. I particularly love how the fruit momentarily hides behind earthy and umami notes, and then even reveals a touch of ya'an cha---always a delight to the heart.
