Young and energetic with a solid foundation - green apples and redcurrants play against toasted brioche / easter bread that's gone properly crisp. The herbal-nutty thing works well here, especially with that orange peel edge cutting through. It's all about the dryness though - not austere, just beautifully focused. Everything stays balanced and keeps going.
A quietly compelling Champagne - herbal and nutty at once, with green raspberry leaf and bay folding into roasted almonds, bruised apple, orange peel, and a faint floral lift. There's even a whisper of almond cake and something vaguely oxidative - not full-on Jerez, but a nod in that direction. The palate is round and welcoming, with a chalky undercurrent and a gentle spice that keeps things moving. Balanced and persistent, it walks a fine line between richness and restraint. Not a showstopper, but smart, textured, and deeply drinkable. Perfect for casual sipping.
