Pierre Moncuit is a family-run grower-Champagne house (Récoltant-Manipulant) based in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the Grand Cru village at the heart of the Côte des Blancs. The family's roots in Mesnil go back to 1889 (Alex Moncuit, original vine acquisitions); the house bottles under the name of his son Pierre Moncuit, who with his wife Odile Moncuit-Delos built the modern domaine in the early-to-mid 20th century.
Since 1977 the operation has been run by Pierre's daughter Nicole Moncuit (viticulture and winemaking) alongside her brother Yves (commercial). Nicole's daughter Valérie Charpentier has been leading since 2016 - third generation under one roof.
About 20 hectares, dedicated exclusively to Chardonnay: 15 ha of Grand Cru in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger plus 5 ha around Sézanne (the latter sold under the Hugues de Coulmet label, not Grand Cru). Wines from different villages are never blended. House style: stainless-steel fermentation, full malolactic, long lees aging - precise, mineral, age-worthy.
