This wine, unfortunately, doesn't quite live up to expectations. The story of its winemaker is more interesting than the wine itself.
While not a bad wine by any means, it falls short of being impressive. Its complexity is primarily derived from an oxidative character, presenting a bouquet filled with notes of cider, Jerez, honey, candies, and caramel.
Despite what could be described as a flabby palate (the wine clearly struggles with balance, lacking the necessary texture to support its own acidity), it still manages to offer flavorful and vinous qualities. In summary, while it has its merits, particularly in complexity, it doesn't quite deliver a memorable or standout experience.
